Head Coach Vicki Williams is a native of Austin, Texas.  She received her B.A. in Education from Southern Methodist University and her Master's in Education from East Texas State University.  Coach Williams taught school for 33 years, 26 years in Lexington/Richland Five.  Coach Williams has coached cheerleading for the past 28 years, and is beginning her 23rd year as the Head Varsity Cheerleading Coach at Chapin High School.  Coach Williams and her husband, Bill have three daughters: Billie, who taught at Chapin High and is now the new Athletic Director, Jennie, who teaches at Piney Woods Elementary, and Dixie who lives in Greenville, SC. Coach Williams also loves to spend time with her four granddaughters: Dottie, Baxley, Beckett, and Rosie.  Vicki and Bill (know in the community as "Chill") have been married for 53 years and are members of the First Baptist Church Columbia.

Since coaching at Chapin High School, Coach Williams has won 18 State Competitive Cheer Titles and has been runner-up four times.  In 2023, Coach Williams was inducted into the Chapin Hall of Fame.
